Role Overview




  • We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager – Construction Chemicals to drive revenue growth, market expansion and distribution across Nigeria.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction chemicals/building materials, excellent distributor and contractor relationships, and a proven record of delivering sales targets.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy and achieve revenue targets.

  • Build and manage distributors, dealers, contractors and key accounts nationwide.

  • Drive product specification with architects, developers, consultants and project owners.

  • Identify and convert major construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Expand market penetration and develop new territories and sales channels.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer insights.

  • Lead, coach and manage the national sales team.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

  • Drive customer retention, profitability and overall commercial growth.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Building Technology or related field.

  • 8–12 years' sales experience, preferably in construction chemicals or building materials.

  • Proven track record managing national sales/distribution operations.

  • Strong network of distributors, dealers, contractors and construction-industry stakeholders.

  • Experience with adhesives, grouts, waterproofing, mortars, sealants or related products is highly preferred.

  • Strong negotiation, business development and team leadership skills.

  • Commercially driven with strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction market.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
